Fun Facts
I love basketball and have played it since I was in third grade. For most of my career I was a point guard which has lead to much of my leadership and communication skills. Also, I enjoy reading historical fiction and science fiction.
About Me
I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and I graduated from high school at the end of my junior year with a GPA above 4.00. Currently I am a sophomore biochemistry major at Loyola chicago">University of Chicago. When I graduate I hope to attend medical or graduate school. I would love to become a professor at a university and hope that this wonderful opportunity can provide me with some experience.
Experience
I had the opportunity to tutor students while in high school in all subject areas during my junior and senior year. Also, while in high school I was a teaching assistant for a chemistry teacher. Not only did this allow me to observe lessons, but it also allowed me to tutor students in this specific subject.
Approach
Although I was in many higher level competitive courses throughout most of my academic career, I was never the smartest one in my classes. I succeeded by perfecting many learning and study techniques and I hope to pass on these skills to others. I strongly believe that every person is different and every student has a different way of learning. I will attempt to help each student identify and perfect their own specific learning style.

Algebra Tutoring
I have been in advanced math since the beginning of 7th grade. It was in 7th grade that I took algebra 1, I stayed ahead in math and by then end of my junior year I completed AP calculus 1. Then I proceeded to take calculus 2 in my first year of college. I have done well in these classes and have tutored almost all of the maths including pre algebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and calculus 1 and 2.

I have been in advanced math since the beginning of 7th grade. It was in 7th grade that I took algebra 1, I stayed ahead in math and by then end of my junior year I completed AP calculus 1. Then I proceeded to take calculus 2 in my first year of college. I have done well in these classes and have tutored almost all of the maths including pre algebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and calculus 1 and 2.

It was in 8th grade that I took Honors science 9 (equivalent to 9th grade science), I stayed ahead in science and by then end of my junior year I completed AP chemistry and AP biology. Within my first year of college I took biology and chemistry, and currently (sophomore year) I am taking genetics and organic chemistry.
