I write scripts for short films as a hobby and work on set doing multiple jobs as they are being filmed. While I was growing up in New Orleans, there was a children's museum near where I lived. I used to visit twice a week and ever since then I have been obsessed with learning more about the world according to scientific and mathematic principles.

About Me

I am a very motivated and driven person who loves to learn as well as help others learn. I was born in New Orleans, but primarily grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. My favorite subjects in school have always been math and science related. Aside from academics, my interests include listening to live music, playing and coaching soccer, volunteering, and learning new skills such as cooking and playing instruments.

I have run many study groups and review sessions both in high school and college. Also, during my previous jobs as a baby sitter of middle and elementary school children I have aided and assisted with learning homework material, usually in math related fields.

First, I believe it is necessary to find what areas of the subject the student is struggling with and to target those areas specifically. A customized program is necessary for a student to be able to fully comprehend the material. It is also important to check if the student has understood what they are being taught after a topic has been covered. It is important to create a friendly environment for the student to ensure that they feel comfortable asking questions when they are stuck. Once they learn something, I feel it is necessary to focus on that achievement to promote future success.
