Fun Facts
Something I am very passionate about is music. I play both the trombone and bass guitar. I also love going to concerts and music festivals. This makes Chicago the perfect place to be!
About Me
I graduated from chicago">Loyola University Chicago with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Minor in Environmental Science with Cum Laude status. I am continuing my studies at chicago">Loyola University Chicago and pursuing a PhD in Chemistry. I am from the northern suburbs of Chicago, but am now located in the north side of Chicago. Through my studies of chemistry and environmental science, I hope to use my chemistry background to help improve the environment around us.
Experience
I am currently a leader at Loyola 4 Chicago. I lead a group of students at a local elementary school to help the students with their homework and spend time with them before their parents arrive to pick them up. In high school, I was a member of the Freshmen Mentor Program. I would give up 30 minutes of my lunch every day to mentor a class of freshmen coming into my 4000 student large high school. We would do ice breakers, activities and answer any questions anyone would have.
Approach
Throughout my life, I have been very fortunate to have received the help I needed to succeed in school. My parents have always been around for me and all of my teachers were always very accessible. I know that not everyone is as lucky as I was. I am hoping to be the person that helps students continue learning and to stay optimistic about their future. Sometimes all it takes is a guiding hand!

Chemistry is my major. I have taken Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Quantitative Chemical Analysis, Inorganic Chemistry, and am in the process of taking Biochemistry. In high school, I took AP Chemistry as well. I believe I would be an effective tutor in this subject.
