C++ Tutoring

I have taken C and C++ classes at my University and most of my porgrammiing experience has been in this language. At my intership at UALR I wrote a proof of concept program to impliment my research in privacy and security of smart homes. Since then I have been tutoring C++ and supplimentary instructing lab sessions at Fontbonne.

I have taken algebra courses in high school and College Algebra at Fontbonne University. I got an A in the class and have also helped my brother prepare for the ACT math portion.

In other classes we have learned PHP, HTML, and I have done some python outside of class. Syntax changes from language to language but principles and thought process stays the same.

I can explain and relate to students struggling at this age and make the subject easier to understand and retain. My little cousin was struggling majorly with his multiplication tables and but now knows them like the back of his hand!

HTML Tutoring

I have had to build multiple websites for classes. Usually these websites are created to test user interaction and security on backend systems. Usually the website is built with html and has embedded PHP. I have used CSS for styling pages however have not extensively delt with it.

Java Tutoring

I have taken Java at my University as well as highler level courses that use java to impliment data structures and algorithms. In my class because it came easy to me, I was able to help other students complete their assignments when they were stuck.

Linux Tutoring

I have had a lot of experience in classes at Fontbonne University using ubuntu linux. Covering all the way from the file system structure and commands, adminstrative tasks, to digital forensics. In my own time and at my internship at MasterCard I have used kali linux for network and application penetration testing.

Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring

During my experience in school and at various internships, I have had to give presentations on projects. For each of these presentations I have used PowerPoint.

Microsoft Windows Tutoring

Microsoft Windows has always been the type of desktop or Laptop I have had. So that said it is my most familiar operating system. All experience with other operating systems have come from using windows to host a virtual machine.

I have used Word extensively to write up homework assignments, my resume and cover letters, to generating confidential reports. I have quite a bit of experience with Word.

Networking Tutoring

I have taken networking classes at Fontbonne University. As well, I have used networking principles at both of my Internships to conduct research and to execute penetration tests and understand the full network schema of a corporation.

PHP Tutoring

I have become familiar with PHP thorugh my database class and Web Development and Security class here at Fontbonne University.

Python Tutoring

Python is one of those languages that if you know C++, Java, or any other language, it seems so simple. Well that is because it is. It has an extremly easy syntax to remember and the function libraries are already built and easy to include. I have taken python online course at CodeAcademy and have used python scripting on linux.

SQL Tutoring

I have taken a database course at Fontbonne University where we built a MySQL database and learned to query with SQL. As well, I have had a little experience with basic SQL injection on websites with backend databases.

Javascript Tutoring

javaScript is very similiar to most other languages syntactically. The difference is in how it is implimented for a web application by someone's browser. Not only can I teach how to write and use JavaScript, but I can teach how to do so securely mitigating such vulnerabilites as Cross Site Scripting and more.
