About Me
I am an energetic, inquisitive young professional in the field of public health. I believe the best teacher is your self, and sometimes it takes the help of others to help you gain the confidence.
My mother is a education/georgia/atlanta">special education teacher and I began atlanta">tutoring my siblings (8 and 10 years my jr) while in middle school. While in high school I started atlanta">tutoring elementary aged students enrolled in an after-school program. Through college I completed over 200 hours of atlanta">tutoring, at a local school, community college, and a after school program. Currently, while earning my MPH degree I am a volunteer atlanta">tutor at Fugee's Academy.
Acknowledge and re-direct. As a student gains clarity on a topic, it is important to acknowledge what the students do understand before correcting them. When correcting the student it is important to be clear and concise in the instruction.
