About Me

I’m a Finance Major and Accounting Minor at TCU. I’m involved on campus beyond academics in a sorority as well as volunteering when I can. I also have previous tutoring experience with the company Group Excellence in Fort Worth.

I worked as a tutor and mentor for middle school and high school kids of low-income families by helping them prepare for the TAKs. I developed great relationships with my students on a personal level, which provided extremely beneficial for their learning experience with me as a tutor.

I was able to develop a style of tutoring that I found works best for the student and myself, focusing on working together rather than just lecturing the student. Another thing that has helped me grow as a tutor was having a tutor growing up. So not only have I experienced tutoring from the teacher point of view, I also have experienced it from the student point of view, giving me a view from both perspectives.
