I love to hike, spend time outdoors, play with animals, and relax at home with my family. I'm currently trying to get Scuba certified!

About Me

I am a junior at Cal studying Molecular and Cell biology. I am in the pre-vet society, as well as a leader in the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship Association (highest merit scholarship offered at Cal). My goal is to become a Vet who specializes in conservation wildlife.

Experience

Through a program called "the Sage Mentorship Project" at Cal, I was able to tutor elementary and middle school students in a variety of subjects these past two years. I also have experience tutoring Biology 1 at the SLC (the student learning center) at Cal. I am confident that I could help other students learn material quickly and effectively!

Approach

I am an advocate for time management and a positive attitude! Today, kids are more distracted than ever by social media and technology (I know I am sometimes guilty of this). Most of our time is spent wasted on these outlets. I think that budgeting time and maintaining a positive attitude can be the first steps towards a successful academic year, now and beyond into a career!
