Fun Facts

I've been dancing practically my whole life even though I'm not professional at it and view it more as my hobby. My favorite activity would have to be reading and writing short stories. I think it's fascinating to analyze what I read and incorporate in my writing.

About Me

I'm an Early Childhood and Family Studies Major in my junior year and have been on the Dean's list once. I hope to gain experience with working with others from all ages and work towards the direction in the field of education most likely as an educator.

Experience

I've volunteered in several programs and schools and taught students ranging from all grades in primary education. The subject matter I've taught varies from mandarin, basic math, reading, and writing, to being just a simple companion or caretaker for children.

Approach

There are multiple ways to teach children and I hope to approach each children understanding them as an individual before deciding the course of action to help the children with their learning skills. I hope the children to not only learn what they're supposed to in a classroom setting, but also develop character.
