Fun Facts
I am currently an undergraduate student interested in pursuing a medical degree. As such I have had a number of experiences working as a non-medical volunteer. For example, during the summer following my junior year in high school I accompanied a physician to a rural hospital in Antigua, Guatemala as part of a SurgiCorp medical mission. In Guatemala, I had the opportunity to work with children and helping them prepare and recover from medical procedures.
About Me
I am currently an undergraduate junior student at the George Washington University. I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My friends would describe me as a loyal, compassionate, and motivated individual. I spend a lot of my free time exploring the city of D.C. and trying out new restaurants and local hang-out spots.
I have spent a considerable amount of time working as a Red Cross certified WSI swim instructor and have volunteered to help tutor students at my local community center throughout high school. Additionally, I have helped tutor a number of my college peers in biology and chemistry courses. Every individual I've tutored has required a different approach, and I've come to appreciate that different students have different learning styles.
