About Me
I was valedictorian of my high school class. I am now married and am a second semester junior at USI studying health services. Before health services my declared major was math which I really like to do.
Experience
I tutored elementary kids when I was in high school. Once I helped a freshmen prepare for a test, and she got the highest score in her class.
I also volunteered with school on wheels. Their mission is to end the cycle of poverty through education
Approach
I like to show people what they did right fist and then help them understand what they did wrong. I help people work through problems and try not to just give them the answers. I also help people find ways to memorize things, and relax about their work.

Algebra Tutoring
I had an A in algebra in high school. I liked to help my classmates. For a short time I helped someone in the grade below me who had failed algebra retake the class.
Biology Tutoring
I am going into the health field so I like medical subjects. In high school I took a biology test for academic meets and got second in the state. Once I helped a girl two grades below me study for a biology test and she then got the highest grade on that test in the class. I took BIOL 105 in college.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Pre algebra is great because it is a little easier. The concepts are simpler. It is still fun to work with.
English Tutoring
I can't help very much with writing skills or spelling. However I could help with vocabulary and grammar. We have had several people stay with us who had English as their second language.
Elementary Math Tutoring
Elementary is what I have the most experience with. I love to help kids understand math. If you can get the basics in elementary you will have an easier time throughout the rest of school.
Math Tutoring
I took quantitative reasoning MATH114 my freshmen year. I was one of very few to get an A. I could help with that of college algebra.
