Fun Facts
I am the person who loves outdoor activities. Hiking, backpacking, and camping are all my favor outdoor activities. I love to watch the wild animals and taking nature pictures. I am a mathematician and frequently I was amazed by how sometime nature fits perfectly into the mathematical world.
About Me
I am a retired statistician from a Dallas area high tech company. I am working as the adjunct professor in the dallas">University of Dallas now. I always have a very strong passion about teaching and love the interaction with students.
Experience
I have many many years of teaching experience both in college and high school levels. I taught all levels of math and stat courses . I also do some tutoring during my free time.
Approach
When I worked as statistician in the industry, I have developed a very strong "consultant" skill. I worked with people to understand their problems and helped them to figure out a strategy to solve the problem. I used the same skill in my teaching as well. I first tried to understand student's problems and then helped student to figure out the strategy to solve it. I feel this is very effective teaching method since I put the ownership into student's hands and I guided them to get there.
