Fun Facts
One fun fact about me is that I love to travel! I have visited Europe on two separate occasions. I have also visited many states across the U.S.
My favorite soccer team is F.C. Barcelona! While visiting Barcelona, I was able to attend a game between Barcelona and Madrid!
About Me
I recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in International Studies. I now teach High School Spanish levels 2-4!
Experience
Throughout college, I tutored both high school and college students in Spanish, English, and writing proficiency. I currently teach Spanish 2, Spanish 3 Pre AP, and Spanish 4 AP at the high school level!
Approach
Growing up I always did well in school. I like to believe my good grades were a result of being surrounded by positive and encouraging people in my life who motivated me to do my best. I know want to pass on that positivity and encouragement to my students. As a teacher, I implement various strategies to help teach the subject matter. I include visual, auditory, and kinesthetic devices in my lessons.

Spanish Language and Literature
English Tutoring
I have completed two English classes and am currently enrolled in one as well. The first English I took was a writing and grammar class that I received a high A in. The second class was a literature and poetry class, which I also received a high A in. I am currently enrolled in a American Literature class focused on the 50's Beat movement.
Spanish I Tutoring
I have Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Texas State University. Some of my courses included: Spanish Phonetics, Spanish Linguistics, Spanish Literature I, II, and III, Advanced Spanish Grammar, Spanish Basics I - IV, Business Spanish I and II, and Spanish Writing.
Literature Tutoring
I completed 4 English Literature courses throughout college: English Literature I and II, English Literature: Beatnik Women, and Russian Literature.
Study Skills Tutoring
I have multiple study methods that help me achieve my good grades. Some of these methods include rewriting my notes, making study guides, and utilizing flash cards. My goal is to help my students figure out the best study methods for them, so they too can achieve high grades.
Writing Tutoring
I am currently enrolled in my third English class. Each of the classes I have taken required multiple essays and research papers, which I all have received high marks on.
Conversational Spanish Tutoring
I have Bachelors of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Texas State University. Some of my courses included: Spanish Phonetics, Spanish Linguistics, Spanish Literature I, II, and III, Advanced Spanish Grammar, Spanish Basics I - IV, Business Spanish I and II, and Spanish Writing. I also spent 2 months in Spain to practice and my Spanish conversation skills and pronunciation.
