About Me
I am 31 years old and have been working with children for the past decade. My parents were both classical ballet dancers in Europe and I practically grew up in the ballet studio. I have traveled to China 7 times, some as a dancer, some as a tourist, and several as a tour coordinator for a performance group of older students.
I attended the Orange County High School of the Arts and later graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing. I recently earned a Master's degree in Education from the University of Southern California, with a specialty in Elementary Educational Psychology. I taught ballet to ages 7-17 for many years before realizing that teaching (anything, to anyone) is my passion and life's purpose.
I believe in differentiating instruction to best meet a student's needs. Trust and respect are imperative for progress in all aspects of life, and a young mind's absorption of information is no exception. I love making a difference in peoples' lives and there is no better way to change the world than to make a difference in the life of a child.
