My hobbies are solving crossword puzzles, watching classic movies, and swimming. I also enjoy going to karoke about twice a week. Other times, I like to solve wordsearch puzzles.

About Me

I am a K-12 educator with a specialty in Mathematics for Detroit Public Schools. I have eleven years experience in short and long-term substitute teaching assignments. I have done volunteer tutoring assignments at a face-based site.

My tutoring experiences include tutoring for McCall Educational Services for four years. I would be assigned to one or more students for a maxinmum for thirty two hour sessions. I would contact the parents to arrange days and times for the students to be tutored at either their home or a public library. Each student is administered pre and post-tests.

My tutoring strategy is to determine the effectiveness of the tutoring experience based on the pre and post-tests. Students are taught the fundamental mathematical principles and rules of operations. Student learning is enhanced through the use of educational games and tools.
