I'm very recognizable by my very brown curly hair which I got from my father. I love reading, especially novels, and I also enjoy swing dancing whenever I can get the chance. I also used to be an introvert, but I find myself becoming more and more extroverted every day! I have a total flower obsession, and even buy myself bouquets every once in awhile. About Me

I am a recent graduate from Purdue University with a double major in French and Spanish. I'm 22, so I am easily able to relate to students and I know very well what it is like to learn a foreign language. I also really love it, and it delights me to see students come to love and understand foreign languages. My ambition and hope is to work with people groups with undocumented languages!

I tutored college students unofficially in French and Spanish for a couple of years in classes I had completed before I began working for an organization called Horizons which is part of the Division of Student Affairs at Purdue University. I have tutored a total of 6 Purdue University students for Horizons in the past year.

Because I am not a native speaker of either French or Spanish, I am familiar with what it is like to learn languages. I also know that every student is different and have different strengths and weaknesses as well as different learning styles, so I prefer to change my teaching method depending on the student's learning style as well as what they struggle with most. I am also a firm believer in the importance of practice. I prefer for a students brain to get used to the material rather than to memorize it without practical application.
