Fun Facts

The only subject which I hated the most during my school was chemistry but now I love Chemistry. I fell in love with chemistry after I started my graduate program and then I realized its never too late to fall in love with any subject but you just need to find the right ones to teach you. I just enjoy reading books, working in lab and trying new things.

About Me

I am a research assistant working on Pharmaceutical chemistry at Texas A&M Health science center, Kingsville. I have my bachelors in pharmacy and masters in chemistry. So, I enjoy working here because I get a chance to apply both my bachelors and master's experience. I love teaching and I never stopped teaching.

Experience

As a graduate student, I had an opportunity to teach undergraduates at Texas A&M University, Kingsville. I worked as a teaching assistant, tutor and research assistant during my graduate program. I have 2 years experience tutoring chemistry-I, chemistry-II, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry. I worked 4 semesters as teaching assistant for Inorganic chemistry labs and research assistant for research work on gold chemistry.

Approach

I worked as a teacher volunteer for 4 years in school for orphans where I taught math and science for high school. I learned the value of being a teacher and importance of a teacher in this school and those 4 years will always be the best part of my life. I learnt that teaching is not just a job but a responsibility to induce interest in the students for that particular subject. I also learnt scores are not everything and teaching is my Passion.
