Fun Facts
While I listen to a lot of classical and traditional music for my major, I enjoy a lot of contemporary and pop music outside of my classes as well. I play french horn in the Emory Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Brass Choir. I enjoy being active, and I regularly run and hike around Emory and Atlanta. I am from Marietta, GA.
About Me
I am a senior at Emory University. I am a Biology and Music double major. I have made Dean's List and maintain a competitive GPA (3.79). I am currently in the process of applying to medical schools.
Experience
I used to tutor friends and acquaintances in high school in various subjects. I then worked at Kumon for fourteen months. Currently, I tutor fellow Emory students in biology and psychology through the Emory EPASS peer tutoring program.
Approach
Kumon placed a heavy emphasis on independent student learning. I saw benefits and drawbacks of of this practice. While I believe in helping students cultivate a sense of independence and confidence towards their learning, I also understand some students require a certain level of guidance in order to flourish.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
I am a biology major at Emory and premed. I have taken a year of introductory biology, human physiology, comparative vertebrate anatomy, and other biology and science related courses at Emory. In high school I took Honors Anatomy and Physiology, and am familiar with the level and scope of content seen.
