Fun Facts

One of my favorite things to do is to work out. You can regularly find me at the gym ready to lift some weights. Also, I love dogs, especially Pit Bulls, and take every chance I can get to pet them. :)

About Me

I am a junior at gwinnett-college">Georgia Gwinnett College majoring in Math Education. I've been on the President's List all 3 years I have attended college and am a part of the school's honors program, as well. When I graduate, I plan to pursue a teaching job in either a middle or high school setting.

Experience

While in college, I have tutored neighbors' children, my own family members and friends I attended school with. I have always been the go to person when it comes to math help in my social circle. Although math is one of my favorite subjects to teach, I am more than happy to tutor other subjects that are in my realm of comfort. English and science are both subjects that I have excelled in throughout school and find easy to teach to younger minds. As an avid reader, I find English an easy subject to teach.

Approach

My goal through tutoring is to help increase school performance while having fun at the same time. I believe that the main reason students do not succeed in school is because of boredom. As a tutor, I try to take boredom out of the problem and get the student excited and ready to learn!
