Fun Facts

I was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas for sixteen years. I moved to Dallas about seven years ago and I'm currently going to college at St. Mary's University in San Antonio. I enjoy playing video games and board games that require strategy like Settlers of Catan. I like long distance running and hiking. I also like listening to classic rock like The Rolling Stones and ACDC.

About Me

I just finished my third year of undergraduate, and I'm proud to say that all the AP credit that I received in high school has allowed for me to obtain a History minor. As well as achieve the status of senior since sophomore year. After I graduate I plan on entering medical school in either Dallas or San Antonio.

My mother works as a fifth grade elementary teacher. Since my high school years I have helped my mother with tutoring students in reading, writing, science, and mathematics. Now that I'm in college I have tutored for general biology I and II, and I am also a national certified tutor for general physics I and II. I am also in the process of getting my tutoring certification in biochemistry.

I usually prep ahead of a session by providing a condensed summary of the chapter followed by example problems to test the students understanding. Before an exam I take a past exam and go over the problems. I also provide time to ask questions before I move onto a new topic.
