Fun Facts

Fun facts about me? Well, I love to dance and sing when nobody is watching or listening. All I need to have a good time is to go out with some friends and dance. My mother made my take piano lessons for four years, but I do not regret it because I love it! I also have this secret passions for horses. Someday, I hope to own one myself.

About Me

I am only 21, but have been inspiring kids from all ages since I was ten. I recently graduated from Sierra College with two AA degrees. One in Social and Behavioral Sciences and another in Liberal Studies. I am originally from Sacramento, California, but will be moving to Chicago, Illinois. I was interested in applying for schools all around the country to become a High School teacher someday.

Experience

Sierra College had a very helpful program that introduced me to working at an Elementary School as an assistant teacher. I have had two years working with kids from First to Fifth grade. I assisted them in their reading comprehension, writing, math, and social sciences. I have also had experience helping with homework when I would nanny children in their homes.

Approach

My Middle and High School teachers have inspired me the most. I was never really a popular kid since my parents were very religious and had not allowed me to participate in extracurricular activities. Because of that, I began writing and became interested in reading books. I had gotten really into learning everything, especially people. This is why I am really interested in Psychology. My approach is to inspire kids to become interested in learning because school is the greatest aspect on life.
