Fun Facts

I grew up in a quite city called Huaibei in Anhui province, China. I love all science courses when I entered high school. Probably that's why I chose Chemical Engineering as my major. Even though I spent most of my academic life in the lab, I certainly love outdoor activities, such as golfing and motorcycle riding.

About Me

I am a PhD student majoring in Chemical Engineering at University of Southern California. I came to USC in 2009 to pursue the doctoral degree, and I am almost done. Strict training and hands-on experience have made my mind logical and sharp. I hope to start my career in a R&D department in a majoy Chemical or Oil company.

Experience

My turtoring experience starts since May, 2016. I had the opportunity to tutor students in geometry, algebra, chemistry, Chinese, ACT science and math on a one-on-one basis. I love working with students who are serious about improving their academic performancing.

Approach

I am a patient person. I always make sure the tutoring materials are 100% delivered and understood. I believe the tutor-student relationship is about respect, communication, and trust. I am goal-enriented when it comes to tutoring. I measure students' improvement as my achievement, and I'd love to help student master the tutoring materials.
