One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love helping people! Any time I have a chance, I am always doing work with clubs to help fundraise or run clinics on the UC Davis campus to help bring awareness in the community about prevalent health conditions that can be managed by excising or eating healthy.

About Me

I am a senior at UC Davis. I am a Communications and Sociology Major. I have been attending UC Davis for a year and will be graduating June 2017. I hope to pursue my Masters or Medical School upon graduation. My ultimate goal is to obtain my teaching credentials and be able to teach.

Experience

As a High School Peer Adviser, I had the opportunity to provide encouragement and support to students who were going through a struggle. This struggle could be related with school work. Then, I would give them assistance to help better themselves with planning and completing homework.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and sometimes learning was difficult. It is also great to have assistance through a time of struggle and be able to have extra guidance to help you succeed if needed. As a tutor, I hope to bring positive attitude and not only just help a student with homework but provide additional assistance needed with words of encouragement to help them go above and beyond to be successful!
