Fun Facts

One fact people find out quickly is that I love mysteries. I love mystery books from Nancy Drew to Sherlock Holmes. I love crime shows too (NCIS, SVU, Psych). I know if my passion wasn't teaching, I would probably be studying criminal justice. I also love traveling. Being able to see the world and learn different cultures is simply amazing to me.

About Me

I graduated from Butler University in 2016 with a degree in Secondary Education and English at Butler University. I am currently teaching English at a small 6-12 school in the Lafayette area.
I have always wanted to be an educator, ever since I was younger. Therefore, my siblings have gotten my help throughout the years with their homework and even extra work from me. As a indianapolis">tutor, especially a Frog indianapolis">Tutor, I know I will be able to impact and mentor even more children.

In my educational journey, I have been very lucky that I have always had teachers who cared and who went above and beyond just to make sure their students understood their lessons. I aspire to indianapolis">tutor that way as well. I believe a big aspect of teaching is not giving students answers but giving students the tools and strategies to find the answers themselves. I also feel that teaching is not only teaching students content, but teaching them how to use said knowledge to be successful all throughout school and life.
