Fun Facts
I enjoy drawing wolves and helping to teach kindergarten thru 2nd graders at Sunday School at my church.
About Me
I am a 3rd year Physics PhD Student at the University of New Mexico. I completed my BS in physics at UNM with a 4.0 GPA and I hope to get a job at Sandia National Labs someday.
Experience
As a Graduate Student I have had to teach several undergraduate physics labs. I have also helped several friends with College Algebra and Calculus classes.
Approach
I enjoy helping students learn. I first find out what the student knows, and then I patiently build off that knowledge step by step until the problem is understood. I've also found that helping the students to know why they are learning something helps to learn, so I give practical examples, especially for math, when I can think of them.
