Fun Facts

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting museums, and hiking. In the summer, one of my favorite things to do is climb the massive sand dunes found at the Indiana Dunes State Park. I like to participate in educational events in my local community. I love animals and have a cat named Tabby.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Elementary Education. As an educator, the greatest feeling is knowing that I have the potential to impact each child's life. My passion is to work with students and bring out the best in each individual child.

My experience includes working with seventh and eighth grade students in a one-on-one and small group setting. During the past year, I have tutored students in reading-comprehension/illinois/chicago">reading comprehension and in science. My chicago">tutoring experience has been filled with much joy and satisfaction knowing that I have impacted a student's learning experience.

I believe that chicago">tutoring should be engaging and fun for the students. chicago">Tutoring must be centered around the individual child and consist of differentiated instruction to fit the needs of each learner. My approach to chicago">tutoring and mentoring is that each tutee requires attention, warmth, and targeted instruction to achieve learning goals.
