I am currently the student leader of the H.E.A.R.T.S. Honors College Book Club. I am also fundraising money for my alternative breaks trip to Philadelphia where we will be helping abused animals find a new home.

About Me

I am a junior Biology major at Florida International University. I have been on the Dean's List for the past 2 years in a row! When I graduate with my bachelors I hope to go to medical school in order to become a pediatrician!

Experience

I am currently a PLTL (Peer-Led Team Learning) leader. I lead my PLTL session once a week where I guide my students through a Biology workshop that is related to what they are learning in their Biology 1 class.

Approach

As a tutor, I attempt to be positive and patient in all of my sessions. Students learn best when they are in a calm and safe environment. Since everyone learns differently I plan to incorporate several learnings styles into my lessons in order to tailor them to the student's needs.
