Fun Facts
I love running! Since I was about 10 years old I have been running for fun and in high school I turned it one of my main focuses. Though I do not run anymore competitively, I still enjoy running to stay healthy and active! I love science and science fiction books!
About Me
I am a Sophomore major in Biology on a Pre-Pharmacy track at Florida International University. I have always had a passion for natural sciences. After earning my Bachelor's degree, I hope to attend the University of Florida to earn my Doctorate in Pharmacy. With this degree I hope to become a clinical pharmacist with a focus in Geriatrics.
Experience
In high school I was able to participate in a program which allowed me to welcome incoming freshmen, transfer students and international students. I helped with providing study advice, and overall advice about how to navigate through coursework effectively. Since attending FIU I have not found many opportunities to continue helping my peers, so working for this company would allow me to help others in a way I am passionate about.
Approach
Many students dread going to school everyday. If extracurricular activities, loads of homework and lack of sleep is factored into the equation, school could become a word that holds a negative connotation. As a previous student athlete and mentor I can resonate with these issues. As someone who learned how to deal with school on their own, I love to share my tips and tricks on how to get good grades the right way! I aim to teach good studying habits as well as providing fun ways to learn!
