Fun Facts

Something most people will point out about me is that I love art. From messing around with different mediums to drawing simple pencil pieces, art is how I express myself! I am the oldest and only female of three, and have travelled to fourteen of the fifty states. I someday hope to travel to all fifty.

About Me

I am a junior Chemistry major at Georgia State University. When I graduate, I plan to attend Georgia Institute of Technology to earn my Masters in Chemical Engineering. My dream job is to be part of a team whose mission is to better improve artificial joints and prosthetics.

Experience

During my first two years of college, I privately tutored students every other day in all subjects. Working with children came very naturally to me because I have been a part of a youth group ever since I was in Elementary school. When I started college, I volunteered to lead my own class in that organization and have fallen in love with teaching.

Approach

When I was younger, I did not have anyone to help me with my studies. It was a struggle to self teach. Being the eldest, I helped my siblings with their schooling and found satisfaction in being able to help others with what I never had. I truly enjoy teaching and will ensure a child understands what he/she is learning. With my passion, I not only believe I can help them with learning the material, but to also learn how to critically think.
