About Me
My name is Chris and I am 22 years old. I am a student at the university of Arizona and I plan on graduating with a major in business management. I'm actively involved in my church. I served as a missionary for two years in Mexico which helped me realize that I like helping and teaching people. On my mission I learned how to plan and be organized and I continue organizing everything in my life physically and mentally as I encourage others to bring order to their lives and reject dysfunction. I am optimistic, positive, and energetic. I believe everyone has the capacity to influence and change the world. Once I recognized that, it was exciting and liberating for me. I don’t want to live in stagnation so I have stopped doing anything that doesn't uplift me or improve my life and I seek to be a good influence on those around me
I worked in Mexico as a missionary for two years from 2010-2012. There I taught people everyday about religion and I also organized classes to teach basic English to Spanish speakers. I privately tutored other missionaries to learn English. I have informally tutored friends in Spanish.
my approach to tucson">tutoring is positive. I like to motivate those I teach to be self motivated and to critically think. I like to have a relaxed environment with lots of one on one interaction. i feel students learn best when the "why" is explained and not just present information.
