I LOVE the cold and anything to do with it! Whether it's fall or winter, I am infatuated with all the leaves, snow, and cozy fireplaces. About Me
I am a freshman pre-nursing major at Towson University. Since I have been here, I have managed an overall GPA of 3.5 and I intend to continue to strive higher in order to be accepted into the nursing program. I am a part of three associations including the Carribean Student Association, Black Student Union, and Towson University Nursing Association. In light of the differences in each of these clubs, I strive to learn more about communities and volunteer as much as I can.
Experience
I wanted to join frog tutoring because I have been tutoring my classmates since the eighth grade. Even today, I tutor the students that live on my floor of the dormitory. They come to me for help on homework or to improve a grade on the next test. I have helped them succeed here at Towson, but I would love to help as many people as I can no matter how far. My goal is to spread the awareness of focusing and learning.
Approach
As a child, I could never really grasp the concepts of the lessons I was taught in school because I felt that there is nothing to apply it to. So, as I began my journey in high school and college, I began to relate what I was taught to the world around me which helped improve my retention of new knowledge. As a tutor, so far, this is the best method for my peers to not only memorize the information needed, but to actually understand the work.
