Fun Facts

I love to play the piano as well as write stories and poetry. I've been writing since the age of six and have been playing the piano for 17 years! I lived in Germany for four and have traveled to Italy and Greece for People to People Ambassador Program. I hope to eventually travel to Japan, Brazil, Ireland, Spain, France and Canada, just to name a few. I love to sing and dance although I am not great at them. I love listening to all types of music.

About Me

I am currently a senior at Towson University with a major in Family Studies and Human Services, Service to Children and Youth track. I have a 3.5 GPA and been on the Dean's List for 2 years in a row. I plan on graduating in the spring of 2017. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career working with children in a school setting.

Experience

While I was working at the YMCA of Frederick County and Baltimore County, I assisted both elementary and middle school children in completing their homework assignment as well as providing assistance in studying for exams and quizzes. I also assist my younger sister and nephew with their homework assignments, classwork, and exam preparation. By working for Frog Tutoring, I will be given the opportunity to assist more students with their education as well as encourage a passion for learning.

Approach

As a child, I learned best when I was shown how to complete a task and then was asked to complete it myself. I hope to utilize this technique as well as provide guidance and a positive attitude. I understand that learning can be difficult. Through patience and encouragement, I believe that this issue can be mitigated. As a tutor, I hope to bring my passion and zeal towards education. I feel it is important to have a positive attitude when it comes to learning since it can be frustrating.
