Fun Facts

I have recently taken up skateboarding and I enjoy it a lot. I plan to take up surfing next summer so skateboarding is my preparation for that. I also enjoy cycling, yoga, zumba, and running.

About Me

I am a Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate. I completed my degree in one of the top nursing universities in the Philippines and passed the nursing boards with an 80% passing rate. I have over 10 years of healthcare experience. I also have a certificate for Medical Clinical Assisting and I am a national certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCCT) with a passing rate of 89%. I’m currently working in Home Care and taking courses in Early Childhood Education, ASL, and Mandarin.

Experience

I am a California Certified Medical/Clinical Assistant and Phlebotomist, specializing in Pediatrics and Geriatrics. I am also a Philippine BSN RN. I have over a decade of Nursing and Healthcare experience. I am currently taking Early Childhood Development courses, ASL, and Mandarin. I am also an expert trainer, coach, and mentor with a robust background in Sales and Customer Service.

Approach

I believe in holistic learning and that all learners learn in different ways. I am very patient and creative with my methodologies, and I am also open to learning from my students on how they learn best. I am a believer on the Socratic method, which is to guide students to the right answers as this will teach them to experience discovering the answers themselves, and experience after all, is the best teacher.
