Fun Facts
Other than math and engineering, I am passionate about philosophy, music theory, technology, and learning. I have a brother, a dog, and a cat. I've never been north of Washington, D.C. and I've never been to any other continent but North America. Once I earn my Master's and find a job, I hope to travel occasionally and see the world.
About Me
I am a mechanical engineering graduate student at NC State University. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from NC State in May 2016. For my senior design project, I worked on a team to design an aerial-launch-deployable sea-glider.
Experience
My work through school gives me an excellent technical and theoretical background for mathematics and engineering work. In industry, I worked as a contractor for Duke Energy through Guidant to analyze and maintain electricity production systems.
Approach
I've always been full of questions and curiosity, traits which allow me to find a learning opportunity in every situation. Approaching a problem from every angle of understanding allows me to offer explanations from a range of perspectives, which in turn allows me to convey information in an accessible way once I get to know my audience.
