Fun Facts
I served 4 years in the US Air Force before earning my bachelor's in chemistry. I traveled to 5 continents before I turned 21. I played soccer in high school and still play pick-up games and I also play piano.
About Me
After serving in the USAF, I decided to pursue my education in chemistry at the University of West Florida. After earning my B.S. in chemistry, I did graduate school at the University of Utah for a year before deciding to move back to Indiana and pursue my MBA at the indianapolis">University of Indianapolis.
Experience
I have 4 years tutoring experience. I have tutored mostly in the maths and sciences. I have tutored general and organic chemistry as well as tutoring for the math/indiana/indianapolis">ACT math and science sections. I have also done individual tutoring for middle school and high school maths, calculus, physics, and physical science.
Approach
I believe in adapting to the needs of the student. I am an interactive tutor who believes in getting students excited the subjects that they are being tutored in. In my experience, one of the greatest things that you can give to a student is confidence to overcome their fear of math and science. I like to walk students through their problems and discover the specific issues and concepts that they are having difficulty with.
