Fun Facts

I love snowboarding! I go to snowboard in lake Tahoe every winter. I lived in Israel for six months. I am a huge Patriots fan, and I rooted for them since before they were good. I have two little sisters.

About Me

I grew up in Santa Cruz, and went to the charter school Pacific Collegiate for high school. In May of 2015 I graduated from UMass Amherst where I majored in economics and journalism. Currently I live in Santa Clara and I am working for a start up company in San Mateo called NVOLV. I hope to go to grad school and get my masters in statistics

Experience

I was the entertainment editor for my school's magazine the Amherst Wire. It was my job to help edit my writers stories and give them constructive feedback on ways they can improve.

I also tutored college students in pre-calculus a class I had received an "A" in my previous semester. All in all I found the experience fun and rewarding,

Approach

As a child I struggled with ADHD. So I understand how frustrating and overwhelming school can be. That's why I like to break every assignment, no matter the subject into small tasks. The smaller the task the easier it is for me to focus, and the easier the assignment feels. I always make sure to be positive with my studies and I realize that if you say this should get me a "B" it'll be good enough, you'll usually do worse than you expect.
