Fun Facts

I am the oldest with two younger brothers; we are all big White Sox fans!
I have three pets: a dog named Finley, a puppy named Murphy, and a cat named Webster.
I recently studied abroad in Morocco and loved the experience so much, I am hoping to study abroad again this coming winter in Kenya and Tanzania.

About Me

I am a senior at DePaul University majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. I am a dance teacher at a studio in my hometown where I teach children ranging from ages 2-15 all styles of dance, including tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and classical ballet. I am also involved in a dance company at DePaul. When not dancing, I love to write and read!

I worked with Coach, a peer chicago">tutoring program at my high school. I would stay after school a few days a week and come before school other days to chicago">tutor peers in whatever subject they were having trouble in. I also frequently chicago">tutor both my younger brothers and some families that I babysit for, so I have experience working with older and younger students.

I believe that chicago">tutors should teach, not do the student's work. I try to make sure my students are understanding concepts. I am open to questions and like to form a bond with my students while still making sure that they keep up a strong work ethic.
