Hello! My name is Molly and I enjoy tennis, playing trombone, video games, reading, and visiting the Chicago museums. In my spare time, I volunteer at the PAWS dog shelter or babysit.

About Me

I'm an incoming third-year student in the Honors Program at DePaul University, studying English (British Literature) and video game design. I am on an advanced track and will graduate after four years of college with a Masters Degree in English. I am a straight-A student with a passion for literature and learning in general.

I am currently employed by DePaul as a Mentor for the Honors Program. I am responsible for helping new students acclimate to university life. In addition, I am currently employed as a private chicago">tutor for two families. I chicago">tutor one high school student in geometry and one middle school student in math. Finally, I am the eldest sibling in my family, and have informal experience assisting my brother and sister at times.

My approach to chicago">tutoring focuses on adaptation. I believe that every student learns best in a different way. While some teaching methods work for the majority, some students feel left behind. As a chicago">tutor, my responsibility is to find a method of comprehension which works best for the student. Once I get to know a student, I can better chose a specific learning approach to meet the needs of the individual student's learning style.
