I love embroidery, running, and baking. I'm terrified of lizards, have been attacked by birds (completely unprovoked!!) on three separate occasions and have an unhealthy devotion to British humor, angsty french films and anything written by Neil Gaiman.

About Me

Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, so I'm something of a desert rat at heart which oddly as breed in my an obsessive desire to live somewhere with four seasons, lots of water and no poisonous reptiles. I love reading and plan on being a writer in some grand distant future.

Most of my experience comes from tucson">tutoring and helping my younger brothers (ages 10 and 12). I spent some time helping and tucson">tutoring younger students when I was a junior and senior in high school.

I think the best way to approach tucson">tutoring is make the material interesting or at least, less intimidating. When it comes to subjects like English, writing and history I think it helps to be creative when helping students learn, for example making history for personal by focusing on the lives of individuals and helping students think about what they lives would have been like in the past. Learning should be enjoyable and pleasant.
