Calculus I Tutoring

Outstanding achievement in high school AP Calculus, and received a 5 on the AP exam. In Mechanical Engineering, Calculus is often integrated in many of my courses, and I'm comfortable with using it.

Calculus 2 Tutoring

I have outstanding achievement in high school AP Calculus AB & BC, and received a 5 on the AP exam. In college, I have also taken Calculus III. In Mechanical Engineering, all types of Calculus are often integrated in many of my courses, and I'm very comfortable with using it.

College Algebra Tutoring

I have taken and excelled in many different math courses such as Linear Algebra and Differential Equations which require a solid understanding of Algebra. I use algebra in almost all of my engineering courses as well. I'm completely proficient in all levels of math and feel comfortable teaching it.

Mechanical Engineering Tutoring

As my major, I have taken many Mechanical Engineering classes, most of which I have received As in. Some of the classes include: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing, Machinery Design, and Thermodynamics. Because of the high achievements I have in my field, I'm also a part of the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi.

Japanese Tutoring

I took 3 years of Japanese in high school and continued in college. I am currently enrolled in upper division Japanese courses and am working on my Japanese Minor. Every summer I assist in a Japanese Exchange program, where I have made many native speaking friends. I am confident in tutoring beginning and even intermediate Japanese students.

Math Tutoring

I have taken and excelled in many different math courses such as Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Calculus I II & III which require a solid understanding of various types of math. I use math everyday in my work as an engineering student and am confident in my abilities. I was also a Mathlete in high school, where I applied my various knowledge and critical thinking to a range of problems.

I have completed and earned A's my college's Physics: Mechanics with Integrated Calculus and Physics: Electricity and Magnetism. Additionally, many of my engineering courses have a heavy focus is physics, such as Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials. I feel very comfortable addressing the various topics and concepts under physics.

Pre Calculus Tutoring

Being very familiar with using Calculus has allowed me to master the concepts of Pre-Calculus as well. I had outstanding achievement in high school AP Calculus AB & BC, and received a 5 on the AP exam. In Mechanical Engineering, Calculus is often integrated in many of my courses, and I'm comfortable with using it as well as teaching it.

Writing Tutoring

Throughout my student career, I have excelled in writing courses. In high school, I received an A in AP Language and Composition, essentially an advanced writing course, and a 5 on it's AP exam. This past summer I took the writing intensive class focused on Asian Cinema, and did exceedingly well on almost all of the essays. I often peer correct my classmate and friend's essays and am skilled at timed writing and revision.

As a student, I have always excelled at English. Writing is strongest suit, but I am also completely proficient in Reading Comprehension and Language Arts. I received As in both of the AP English classes I took, as well as passing the AP exams. I often proofread and assist my classmates with their essays in college as well.

Science Tutoring

Throughout my student career, I have taken several science courses. In Mechanical Engineering, it is vital that we understand a wide range of science, especially Physics and Chemistry. Additionally, I have received As in the college and high school Biology courses I have taken.
