Fun Facts
I teach Greek to Elementary students during the academic year. It is a one-day a week program that allows me to design curriculum and materials. I love that it is hands on, and that I an interact with the students on a 1:1 basis.
About Me
I am a Graduate student at Depaul University. I am studying Elementary Education and am earning endorsements in General Science, Biology, Social Studies, Math and English Language Learners (ELL).
I currently teach Greek to two age groups: Kindergarten/1st Grade and 3rd/4th Grade. In the past I have tutored children in math and literacy at the Saint Vincent DePaul Center as well as math-middle-school/illinois/chicago">Middle school Math and Science. Most recently I tutored college level reading-comprehension/illinois/chicago">Reading Comprehension.
I am Patient, Understanding and thoughtful. I am a firm believer of mutual respect, that in order to receive respect you also need to earn respect, especially from a child. I always try to come to understand a child's thought process in order to help them work through course material.
