I love to saltwater fish. I am a native Texan and I grew up along the coast.

About Me

I have owned my own consulting business for over 4 years. I attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I also have an MBA and a few graduate hours towards a Master of Engineering.

Experience

While in attending Texas Tech I was involved in a mentoring program. Upon graduation I have dedicated many hours of my spare time to talking to high school and college students about careers in engineering. In my professional career I have developed continuing education courses and currently teach at the local community college and a Tier 1 University as adjunct faulty in engineering technology. This past summer I started a SWE Next Camp at a local high school.

Approach

In high school I struggled with math but always loved the sciences. I had a high school science/texas/houston">computer science teacher that believed in me and this is one of the contributing factors for my success. Now that I have spare time, I instruct and tutor and hope to be able to give back like the educators that I had in high school and college.
