Fun Facts
Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping, soccer, and snowboarding. I like to spend my spare time outdoors. I’ve lived in Utah my entire life and adore the culture here. My favorite season is winter so I can go snowboarding, sledding, and drink hot chocolate.
About Me
I graduated from the University of Utah in 2020 with a degree in chemistry and a math minor. I was accepted into medical school Fall 2020 and am about to start my third year. I hope to become a pathologist and specialize in hematology and oncology.
Experience
In high school I was involved with multiple extracurricular activities such as National Honor’s Society, MESA, Key Club, and varsity soccer. During my junior and senior year I volunteered bi-weekly at the local elementary school to help third grade students with the STAR reading program.
I was involved with student government and event planning throughout my undergrad. I also was a teaching assistant for two years in nursing chemistry and absolutely loved it.
Approach
My main goal as a tutor is to make sure students are independent and confident with their own knowledge. I will often ask questions to students in order to make sure they understand the information. It’s also important to create a good relationship with each student so they are comfortable expressing comments, concerns, or questions. I don’t want students to rely on myself for the answers; rather, I will make sure each student gains the skills to become proficient in the course.

Chemistry
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level as well as Pre Calculus in high school. When I took Pre Calculus my senior year I received A's on all four terms. My minor will be in math as well and I can be helpful for this level of a course.
Writing Tutoring
For the General Education requirements I received A's in my writing classes. I'm qualified to teach major writing concepts and can give constructive feedback.
Accounting Tutoring
I took Accounting I and II in high school. I received A's on the state test as well as in the course. I practiced accounting on the computer and long hand so I am able to help with both methods.
Algebra Tutoring
So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level.

So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level.

I'm majoring in chemistry and have a deep interest with the subject. My math skills can help with understanding chemistry concepts. In high school I received A's every term in my chemistry class.
Math Tutoring
My experience with tutoring math has been successful. I helped high school seniors in remedial math and each student passed their final test. So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level.

So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level.
Science Tutoring
I received A's for every term in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics throughout high school. I'm planning on majoring in Chemistry with a Physics emphasis and can be helpful with any subject. I am passionate about the science and math fields and was involved with MESA in high school.

So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level. I have younger siblings in this level of math and have helped with their homework as well.
Middle School Math Tutoring
So far I have taken Calculus 1 at the college level and will continue taking math classes for my major. I received A's in every math class in high school. I'm planning on minoring in math and can help with this class level.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
I have two years of tutoring experience with reading comprehension. The students I worked with were caught up by the end of the program. I received A's in all of my English classes as well as my college level writing classes.
English Tutoring
English is another one of my strong subjects. In all of my English and Writing classes I've received A's. In other courses such as History where my grade was three in-class written exams I received an A as well. I've scored high on all the state tests in English and got a 33 on the ACT.
