About Me

Hello, my name is Christopher Small. I am an experienced tutor with five years of experience teaching in the realm of math and history.

Experience

I have worked for 5 years as a tutor, including more than 2 years working with Pearson Education Co. and Tsinghua University as a math teacher. Additionally I was awarded an Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Michigan State University and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Peking University. I have worked professionally conducting economic research for several years. In High School I also completed AP US History, Economics and Government course, and recieved 5's on all my AP Exams.

Approach

As a teacher, I always tried to make sure that I could explain the basic concepts in my lesson's clearly, and could demonstrate to students how to apply techniques step by step in real world situations. My students have described me as patient, effective and persistent.
