I spent my younger days traveling the world. I have traveled five continents, lived in five countries, learned to speak five languages, and my goal now is to travel all 50 states of the U.S, and to continue my streak of 100% success rate of the students I am teaching and tutoring.

Other than that I am a big live music and live theater fan who would travel to watch musical theaters and concerts.

About Me

I have been teaching and mentoring students since 1991. I specialize in exceptional students that include the gifted and talented, as well as those with special needs. After about 25 years in the field, I have seen a thing or two, including all 13 categories of IDEA classification of special needs. I have taught students from age 2 to Graduate students in Business, Asian Studies, Psychology, Economy, Education, and Social Sciences.

Experience

Over 25 years of teaching experience specializing in teaching exceptional students, and those who want to be exceptional. Taught education/colorado/denver">special education Pre-K to 12th grade in public school system. Trained in Orton-Gillingham reading remediation and Wilson Reading and FUNdations systems that emphasizes on phonetic and phonemic awareness and mastery.

Approach

I am very hands on. I focus on the strength of the students and provide clear structure to develop the areas of challenges using the strength as the bases of instruction. Students will do all the work and gain mastery by doing and practicing. My job is to open the path to learning and success. Students' job is to walk the path and make the progress towards mastery. Success is about hard work and knowing what to do to accomplish your goal. You set your heart and mind to a goal, you can't fail.
