Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE working with kids! Any time I have a chance, you will find me playing or studying about to improve a child's learning experience. Although I am horrible at it, I enjoy singing and dancing.
About Me
I am a Senior at Northcentral University and live in North Carolina. I am going to be graduating in July with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching. I've been on the Dean's List for 2 years in a row! When I graduate, my ultimate goal is to become a Curriculum Coordinator.
Experience
I have four years of teaching experience and six years of salem">tutoring experience with Sylvan Learning Center. Upon entering graduate school, I was eager to begin working with students again, and volunteered my time teaching small children at the local Elementary schools. Working for Frog salem">Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help!
Approach
As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In second grade, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a salem">tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
