I enjoy spending time with my family and hiking. I Have 2 children, a girl and a boy. They are 1 and 12 respectively.
About Me
I went to Boston University where I earned a Masters in Leadership with a graduate certificate in project management. I am currently pursuing my project management professional certification.
Experience
I spent 4 years teaching at the Marine Corps Communications Electronics School where i taught and graduated nearly 1200 students across 45 classes. I was awarded the honor of Master Instructor having completed more than 2000 hours of on the block teaching, as well as having constructing my own program of instruction. Since retirement from the Marines, I have tutored extensively in many subjects but my preference is economics.
Approach
The approach I take to teaching is by ensuring I break down the subject to its smallest parts and go from there. Once the students have a firm foundation then I can expand to the next lesson. Each lesson building upon that strong foundation.

With a Master's of science in Leadership and Project management I have taken many economics classes that pertain to a variety of subjects that are relevant at the undergraduate and graduate level. I have also taught economics classes for 3 years. I want to help students understand the principles of how our economy is structured.
