Fun Facts
In my free time, I love to participate in running events, do yoga with friends, or play soccer. I also love going to the movies and traveling. I have lived in Asia, Australia, and Europe, and have really learned a lot from these experiences. The two craziest things I have done were go snorkeling in ice cold temperatures in Iceland and jump off a bridge in New Zealand to experience bunjy jumping.
About Me
I am a non-profit professional in Baltimore. I have a Master's in International Social Work from Boston College and a Master's in International Law at Melbourne University in Australia.
Experience
I currently tutor high school students in my role working for a non-profit. As a returned Fulbright scholar and recipient of a full scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Australia, I am very passionate about education and inspiring in others the same passion I feel.
Approach
I like to empower students to be confident in their abilities and problem-solving skills. The learning process is just as important if not more so than getting the right answers. I want students to be engaged and to not feel discouraged when they face obstacles. I am a very encouraging and patient person and will meet the learner where they are at. I will take the time to listen to the goals that the student has for him or herself.
