I love trying all types of food. No matter what it is, I like to give all food a chance. When I'm not snacking on something you can find me reading, watching Netflix, or my favorite, running. My latest goal is to run a half marathon!

I am a senior Biology major at St. Edward's University.

Experience

As a teacher's assistant in Rhetoric and Composition, and a supplemental instructor in Physiology, I have experience tutoring students with different learning styles. When I first started college, I volunteered with Foundation Communities and provided tutoring services to elementary school children.

Approach

Growing up, it appeared like learning equated memorizing, something I struggled with. Once I got into high school, I learned that learning is so much more and that it takes different approaches. The enthusiasm of the teacher or tutor, translates into the enthusiasm a student or tutee may have. Learning isn't just about making an A, but about using your learning to take on the world!
