Fun Facts
One passion people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE empowering others to become the best versions of themselves! Any time I have a chance, you will find me doing something to help others. I am the 4th oldest of 6 children, and have traveled to 3 countries and speak 4 languages. I love to sing and play piano although I am not great at it. Someday soon, I hope to start my own Life Coach School.
About Me
I am a site based specialist at a mentoring organization called Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. I graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi. My ultimate goal is to become a Master Life Coach.
Experience
As a high achieving college student, I had the opportunity to tutor in many subject areas such as: ESL, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Portuguese, Study skills, and Test Prep. I also served as a Academic Student mentor at the university I attended. I have spent several years doing humanitarian work with underprivileged families and disadvantaged youth in Mexico. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help!
Approach
As a child, I slid through school making great grades, but due to not being challenged, I never pushed myself. In High school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes.
