About Me
I am a graduate student at Morgan State University .I have my bachelor degree in accounting. Currently,i'm doing my masters in business administration. I have worked as a tutor at CASA in Morgan State University. I have helped create an impact in the lives of the students as well as in their academics.
Experience
During my undergraduate years at Morgan State University,I worked as a tutor.I taught students various subjects like math,english,economics,accounting,humanities,and history.I helped students work on their assignments,tutored them on the subjects they found difficult to comprehend. In general,I helped improve the success rate and performance of students at my university.
Approach
When I was a high school student, I found learning difficult. I had problems understanding algebra,math assignments as well as english assignments.I learned of a tutoring program in my high school,and I decided to make use of it. This allowed me to excel in school and get good grades by the end of the school term. Tutoring is a great way to help students excel and succeed in their academics .I intend to help students excel in their academics and understand their course work better

During my undergraduate years, i have taken economics 211 and economics 212.This classes made me understand more about the principles of economics.In economics 211, i got a grade of B while in economics 212, i got a grade of A.I am able to understand the concept of economics and the way economics works in the real world.I am able to help the student understand the concept of economics and help the student understand the course better.
English Tutoring
During my college days, i took english 101,102.In english 101 class ,i got a grade of A while in English 102 class, i got a grade of A.I was able to understand the basics of reading,comprehension and sentence structure. When i tutored in my school,I helped students understand the ways of identifying grammatical errors as well as correcting them.i learnt the ways of making students understand grammatical structures in readings and writings.
Math Tutoring
i have taken math 106,113,118 and 201.In math 106,i got an A grade while in math 113, i got an A grade.in math 118 i got an A grade too while in math 201, i got a B grade.i learned the basics and techniques of algebra, calculus,as well as basic skills in math.When i was a tutor,i helped students with their class assignments,and i helped students understand the basics of math.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
i have taken DVRD 101 class during my college years.This class is a reading class so i learnt to understand reading as well as the author message in each reading.This class is a developmental reading class and the class helps students understand reading better.When i worked as a tutor,i was able to help students understand how to comprehend better and understand the concept of effective reading better.
Writing Tutoring
I have worked in writing center at my school .The CASA ( center of academic student achievement)program in morgan state university helps students who have difficulty in writing.Part of my job as a student was to help students improve on their writing and perform better in class.I helped students understand the structure of writing a five paragraph essay with no grammatical errors or sentence structure errors.Also i helped students read their writing essays to make sure they did well in their writing courses.
Algebra Tutoring
i have done classes that taught algebra in school .Algbera is a course i love to teach cause i know most students have difficulty in comprehending this course.I will help the students learn how to understand algebra problems and solve them correctly .
Pre Algebra Tutoring
Pre algebra is an interesting course This is because it provides the basics for learning algebra. I will help the students understand the basics of algebra and show them steps in solving the problems and getting their answers.
SAT Math Tutoring
I had a sat score of 1000.I am good in teaching students how to understand math problems in sat and the best ways to tackle the problems.I will help students understand the ways to study for sat and perform exceptionally well during the exams.
SAT Verbal/Writing Tutoring
I am good in writing.I am able to help the student understand the ways to write fast and effectively in sat. I will help the students learn the ways to understanding verbal reasoning .
